4th Grade General Education Teacher | Naval Anacost Annex, District of Columbia

This full-time position is for a 4th grade General Education Teacher serving a class of 25-30 students, with support from a special education inclusion teacher. The role is based at a school near Naval Anacost Annex, DC, and is a contract assignment covering maternity leave from ASAP to June 18th, with typical school hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver literacy and general education instruction to the whole class alongside a co-teacher
• Follow provided lesson plans while adapting instruction to meet student needs
• Collaborate with the special education inclusion teacher to support all learners

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required
• Experience teaching 4th grade or similar elementary grades preferred
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and support inclusion
