A school district near Danbury, Connecticut is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) with school nursing experience for the 2024 summer session. This contract position offers 20-25 hours per week supporting students from early childhood through 8th grade across various caseloads. The role is based near Naval Anacost Annex, DC, providing a unique opportunity to combine school health services with a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and health assessments for students with diverse special education needs.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement health plans.

Qualifications

• Valid Connecticut RN license required.
