Real Estate Paralegal (LIHTC / Affordable Housing / Transactional)
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

A highly regarded and growing law firm is expanding its Affordable Housing practice and adding a Real Estate Paralegal to support Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys on LIHTC and affordable housing transactions
- Assist with real estate and real estate tax matters related to tax credit financing
- Prepare, organize, and manage transactional documentation
- Assist with tax credit financing structures and coordination with lenders and equity investors
- Coordinate closings and monitor deal timelines
- Serve as a key point of contact for attorneys, clients, lenders, and investors, helping drive transactions forward
- Support transactions involving multiple stakeholders including lenders, investors, and legal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) or affordable housing transactions is strongly preferred
- Candidates with strong transactional real estate experience (commercial or high-volume closings) and exposure to financing, lenders, or complex deal coordination may also be considered
- Prior experience as a Real Estate or Transactional Paralegal in a law firm environment
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and confidence working with attorneys
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced setting
