Machine OperatorSmartTalent is hiring a Machine Operator for a custom manufacturing company based in Woodinville, WA. This is a Temp to hire opportunity providing full time hours.Pay increase and great benefits provided after conversion.LOCATION: Woodinville, WA SCHEDULE: 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:30 PM – 7:00 AMPAY: 2nd shift: $21/hr3rd shift: $22/hrBENEFITS OFFERED: Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit, Affordable Health Care, Full-Time, CareerAdvancement OpportunitiesKey ResponsibilitiesIdentify any unsafe condition(s) of machine and/or support equipment and notify maintenance or your supervisor immediately. Stop unsafe equipment from operation and lock out from power source.Before starting the machine, clean all areas of the machine including bed, floor, and table of items from the previous run. Support equipment, documentation, and packaging from the previous run should also be put away before starting the machineInstall molds and support equipment in a safe and secure manner. Inspect mold for damage and lubrication of guide pins and bushings before starting. Check machine settings against the approved setup sheet attached to the manufacturing plan.Start molding machines, auxiliary equipment to produce production parts that meet the quality standards described in the manufacturing plan and to print specifications. Troubleshoot and adjust machines as required to produce parts in accordance with the work instructions and manufacturing plan in a safe manner. Provide instruction to the operator any additional information not covered in the work instructions and observe correct sequence of manufacture by operator. Act as a relief operator for breaks or as needed. Complete paperwork to identify first off part, last off part, initial manufacturing plan, etc. before releasing machine to operator.Check that parts are being produced at a rate that meets or exceeds the standard listed in the manufacturing plan, including part and shot weight. Fill out a BOM change request form if necessary.Contact supervisor if parts being produced exceed scrap rates listed in the manufacturing plan or are excessive at start up.Stay up-to-date with technical developments and apply relevant knowledge to your job.Knowledge, Skills & EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent, with possession of basic math knowledge.Ability to operate electric crane used for setting and removing molds in a safe manner.Must be forklift certified.Ability to operate RapiStack in a safe manner.Ability to read blue prints and production documentsAbility to transact materials in IQMS Must have problem solving skills for (assisting in) manufacturing issues. Self-starter with a can-do attitude; always working in the best interest of CCM.Must work well with minimal supervision independently to complete tasks as well as working as an active team member.Ability to comply with instructions, prescribed routines, methods and/or practicesAbility to effectively communicate with others.Completion of courses CCMU-3 Intro to Scientific Qualification Method and De-coupled Molding; prerequisites include CCMU-1, CCMU-2, Paulson Level 1 and Level 2.
