The Opportunity: Come join our team as a Machine Operator! Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact on a fast-growing company?

This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and production of products in compliance with food safety standards within our food manufacturing plant. You will play a vital role in ensuring our high-quality plant-based products are processed and packaged efficiently.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup & Operation: Perform machine setup, inspections, and operation of various machines within the food manufacturing process according to proper procedures.

• Adjustments: Perform minor adjustments to equipment as needed to ensure smooth operation.

• Sanitation & GMPs: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), following all sanitation, process procedures, guidelines, and referencing SOPs where applicable.

• Quality Control: Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, including taking accurate weights and measurements to ensure product quality and efficiency.

• Documentation: Read and understand production schedules and record information on standard production forms.

• Teamwork: Cross-train and work in other departments as necessary.

• Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring (Qualifications):

• Experience: Ideally at least 1-year of manufacturing experience. Prior experience in food processing, manufacturing, or packaging is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Experience with or ability to learn power industrial equipment.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift repeatedly (up to 50lbs).

  • Ability to work with your hands extensively and stand on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift.

  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, wet, or humid) common in a food plant.

• Communication: Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and communicating.

• Reliability: Extremely reliable attendance and the drive to get work done independently.

• Schedule: Ability to start at 5:30 AM and flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
