CNC Machine Operator
SmartTalent Kirkland is seeking experience CNC Operator for a client in Woodinville. The CNC Operator is responsible for operating Holz-Her CNC machinery to accurately machine pre-cut cabinet components using Microvellum-generated programs. This role involves selecting and verifying programs, performing drilling, routing, and hardware preparation, and ensuring all parts meet quality and specification standards. The ideal candidate has experience in a cabinet or woodworking environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read shop drawings while maintaining equipment and supporting efficient production flow.

6am – 230pm Monday - Friday
PAY:
$25-$27 per hour

Key Responsibilities
• Operate Holz-Her CNC machinery to accurately machine cabinet components using Microvellum-generated programs
• Review and verify part labels, shop drawings, and program selections prior to machining
• Load, position, and secure materials to ensure proper alignment and orientation
• Execute machining processes including drilling, routing, dadoing, and hardware preparation
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and tolerances
• Identify and troubleshoot minor machine or program issues to minimize downtime
• Monitor tooling condition and perform routine maintenance, including tool changes as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with shop standards and PPE requirements
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and production timelines
• Document and report production issues, defects, or discrepancies as they arise
Qualifications:
• Prior experience operating CNC machinery in a cabinet, millwork, or woodworking environment
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and part labels accurately
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic machine or program issues
• Experience performing drilling, routing, dadoing, and hardware preparation processes
• Familiarity with Microvellum software and Holz-Her CNC equipment preferred
• Understanding of commercial millwork production processes is a plus
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet production deadlines
• Comfortable working in a shop environment with noise, dust, and extended periods of standing
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and consistently use required PPE
