Shipping & Logistics Coordinator
Location: Fremont, CA
Pay Rate: $21–$22/hour and hours are 8AM-5PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail‐oriented Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipping and dispatch operations. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and strong communication skills, along with experience using automated shipping systems and coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform visual verification of shipments and shipping documentation
- Coordinate and assist with the loading of outbound shipments
- Prepare dispatch logs for drivers, including routes, deliveries, and pickups
- Maintain daily communication with drivers and provide routing updates as schedules change
- Prepare commercial Bills of Lading
- Complete IBSS shipping paperwork accurately and timely
- Ensure packaging and labeling specifications are followed per customer requirements
- Follow all established shipping procedures and documentation standards
Other Duties
- Assist other crew members as needed to ensure operational efficiency
- Accept and follow work directions with accountability and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Duties and responsibilities may change at any time based on business needs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience using automated shipping systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of packaging and labeling materials
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand written procedures
- Ability to complete work accurately within assigned timeframes
- Forklift certification required
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Education & Certification Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Forklift Certification required
Experience Requirements
- 3 years of shipping experience preferred
- Previous shipping experience with Applied Materials preferred

- Primarily performed in a standard office and shipping environment

- Moderate noise levels from printers, computers, and warehouse activity
