Job Title: Shipping and Logistics Clerk
Compensation: $25 - $30/hour, depending on experience
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Hours: Full‑time (40 hours/week)
Type: 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire

Job Details

We are seeking a Shipping and Logistics Clerk to support dock operations, inventory accuracy, and daily shipping and receiving activities. This team supports advanced hardware and manufacturing operations in a fast paced, hands on environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately maintain inventory records, including data entry and regular cycle counts.
• Use computer skills to manage inventory systems and generate reports.
• Handle materials in the warehouse, ensuring they are correctly stored and easily accessible.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the warehouse organized and safe.
• Act as a liaison between the warehouse, manufacturing, and administrative teams, communicating any inventory issues or discrepancies.
• Continuously improve inventory handling and storage processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  

Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory roles.
• Experience supporting dock operations in a manufacturing, hardware, or technology environment preferred.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills, including experience with data entry and inventory management software.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and moving materials.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with various teams and levels within the organization.
