SBA / B2B Underwriter (Junior & Senior)Small Business Lending | Established Lending FirmWe are seeking Junior and Senior Underwriters to join our growing underwriting team supporting small businesses nationwide. This role focuses on evaluating merchant applications, analyzing financial data, and making sound risk-based funding decisions.Our firm provides a high-volume deal flow and a collaborative environment where underwriters can grow their careers while supporting responsible lending.This role is ideal for individuals with underwriting, credit analysis, or financial risk assessment experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced lending environment.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMLocation: Midtown Manhattan (In-Office)ResponsibilitiesReview and evaluate merchant loan applicationsAnalyze bank statements, financial statements, credit reports, and business performancePerform risk assessments and underwriting analysisMake informed funding recommendations based on creditworthiness and repayment abilityEnsure compliance with internal lending guidelinesWork closely with processing and sales teams to move deals efficientlyManage a high-volume pipeline of funding opportunitiesQualificationsExperience in underwriting, credit analysis, lending, or financial risk assessment preferredBackground in merchant cash advance (MCA), small business lending, commercial lending, or financial services is a plusStrong analytical and decision-making skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced underwriting environmentExcel proficiency (data analysis, formulas; pivot tables a plus)Training & GrowthWhile prior underwriting experience is preferred, candidates with strong analytical backgrounds in finance, accounting, banking, or credit analysis are encouraged to apply.We are willing to train and mentor the right candidate into the type of B2B underwriter our team needs.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary performance bonuses (based on experience)Opportunity to grow within an established lending firm with consistent deal flowCollaborative and professional underwriting team environment
