EBNO Student Assistant

A fun, energetic, engaging position assisting aftercare teachers with students K-5th grades.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising children during after school activities
• Assist with homework time and recreational play
• Model Christian values
• Support staff with setup, cleanup, and transitions

• Display Christian character and maturity
• Have a servant’s heart and a willingness to assist
• Has a full understanding and is in agreement with the Statement of Faith of Silverdale Baptist Academy and has a strong commitment to school philosophy
• Understand the Mission and Vision of Silverdale Baptist Academy
• Committed to protecting the culture of SBA
• Models Christian values
• Commitment to a Biblical worldview
• Understands that education is an atmosphere, a discipline, a life, and a science of relations
• Understands that teaching is a ministry and that their role is to be the “Living Curriculum” for students
• Maintains a professional standard of dress and an engaging personality
• Prompt and continuous attendance on campus

Minimum Qualifications

• Be a current SBA student 
• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Parental consent required
• Teacher recommendation required

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

• Must be able to crawl, walk, run, stoop, and move quickly 
• Must be able to see and hear continuously, as well as speak frequently
