Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teaching excellence in Computer Science. 
• Demonstrate sound classroom management skills.
• Cultivate a positive learning environment. 

• Utilize Canvas LMS to build course content and facilitate instruction. 
• Collaborate with teachers and the Department.
• Disciple and mentor high school students.
• Integrate biblical truths in the content taught.
• Has a strong commitment to a Biblical worldview and can cultivate a Biblical Worldview with students. 
• Partner with parents in educating their students. 
• Communicate well with parents and keep them informed of their student’s progress. 
• Maintains a professional standard of dress and an engaging personality
• Prompt and continuous attendance on campus
• Willing to sponsor extracurricular activities/clubs or be able to coach an athletic team.
• Willing to obtain an ACSI teaching certificate. 

Minimum Qualifications 

• BS in Computer Science 
• Teaching experience preferred
   

Physical Demands and Work Environment 

Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
