Responsibilities
- Demonstrate teaching excellence in Computer Science.
- Demonstrate sound classroom management skills.
- Cultivate a positive learning environment.
- Utilize Canvas LMS to build course content and facilitate instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers and the Department.
- Disciple and mentor high school students.
- Integrate biblical truths in the content taught.
- Has a strong commitment to a Biblical worldview and can cultivate a Biblical Worldview with students.
- Partner with parents in educating their students.
- Communicate well with parents and keep them informed of their student’s progress.
- Maintains a professional standard of dress and an engaging personality
- Prompt and continuous attendance on campus
- Willing to sponsor extracurricular activities/clubs or be able to coach an athletic team.
- Willing to obtain an ACSI teaching certificate.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science
- Teaching experience preferred
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
