Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day health, performance, and availability of the organization's network infrastructure.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, firewall, and network security technologies.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance issues while minimizing downtime.
- Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
- Plan and implement infrastructure enhancements, hardware replacements, and software updates.
- Strengthen network security through monitoring, access controls, and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, system standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and IT leadership on infrastructure initiatives and technology improvements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support business-critical systems when needed.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience administering enterprise network environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, routing and switching, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and wireless networking.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms, storage solutions, and cloud technologies is preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues independently.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to technical support.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network , or equivalent are a plus.
