What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Design Engineer or Project Manager position at Shiv Software?
Prospective candidates should possess a BS or MS in Civil Engineering from a US ABET accredited college, with an emphasis in development and/or construction engineering, and shall possess the following qualifications:
- 4 - 15 years of experience in the Civil Engineering field
- A driver's license with a clean driving record,
- A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD, Civil3D
- A service-oriented attitude and ability to work within a team environment,
- Professional Engineering License or ability to take exam within 1 year
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail,
- Ability to manage adhere to project timelines & budgets
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and correctly.
- Ability to “finish” projects to a state ready for submittal to review agencies.
- Experience with public water & wastewater design
- Site grading & stormwater design experience
Preferred experience in one or more of the following:
- Experience as the lead engineer on projects
- Local subdivision entitlements
- HEC-RAS and WaterCAD
