Associate Advisor

Position: Associate Advisor

Location: New City, NY

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Advisor to join our growing wealth management team in New City, NY.

As an Associate Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the primary advisor in delivering an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, eager to learn, and passionate about financial planning.

Responsibilities

Client Service & Meeting Support

• Assist the lead advisor with ongoing client relationship management.
• Prepare meeting agendas, financial reports, and follow-up summaries.
• Handle routine client service requests (beneficiary updates, distributions, address changes, forms, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and compliant client records in CRM and financial planning software.

Financial Planning & Investment Support

• Help gather and analyze client data to build financial plans.
• Draft initial plan scenarios, cash-flow projections, and retirement analyses.
• Support portfolio management tasks such as allocation reviews, account monitoring, and trade preparation (as permitted).

Operational & Administrative Support

• Coordinate account openings, transfers, and custodian paperwork.
• Track tasks, follow-ups, and outstanding client items to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients through email and phone

Qualifications

• Previous experience in financial services or wealth management strongly preferred.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Proficiency with financial planning tools, CRM systems, or custodial platforms is a plus.
• Interest in pursuing CFP, Series 65, or other industry licenses is a bonus.
