You’ll play a key role in U.S. tax compliance, ASC 740 reporting, international coordination, and forward-looking tax modeling that supports real business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare U.S. federal and state income tax returns
- Calculate quarterly estimated tax payments
- Support domestic tax planning initiatives
- Model U.S. tax outcomes based on forecasts, legislative changes, and business transactions
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines
- Compile current and deferred tax calculations, state provisions, and balance sheet tax account roll-forwards
- Review foreign tax provisions prepared by regional finance teams
- Assist in evaluating uncertain tax positions (FIN 48)
- Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP reporting requirements
- Support property and sales/use tax filings
- Assist with domestic tax audits and respond to tax notices
- Conduct technical tax research using Checkpoint and other resources
- Maintain and enhance tax compliance and provision software systems
- Contribute to special projects across compliance, accounting, controversy, and planning
- 3 years of income tax compliance and tax accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax laws
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 740
- Experience evaluating uncertain tax positions (FIN 48)
- Strong analytical and modeling skills
- Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting
- CPA license
- Public accounting experience
- Experience with ONESOURCE (Income Tax, Tax Provision, Global Access)
- Experience with HFM
