Job Overview – Accounting Manager – 34136
We’re partnering with a large, publicly traded manufacturing organization that is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team supporting one of their key business units. This role sits within a highly visible finance group and will play an important part in financial reporting, operational accounting, and supporting plant leadership.
The Accounting Manager will oversee key areas of the month-end close process, financial reporting, and internal controls, while also partnering closely with plant operations and corporate finance. This person will have exposure to senior leadership and will help drive process improvements, reporting accuracy, and operational insights.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5 years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and/or manufacturing industry exposure
Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and general ledger accounting
Exposure to cost accounting or plant operations is a plus
CPA (or progress toward CPA) and/or CMA is preferred but not required
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to partner with operational leaders
