A client of Sharp Decisions if looking for a Business Analyst. This role is HYBRID in Torrance, CA- a multi-year contract with no end date, W2 only.
Daily Task Performed:
- Requirements gathering and business process analysis
- Functional and detailed design
- System configuration and parameter setup
- Testing (unit, integration, system, and user acceptance)
- Production deployment, stabilization, and postimplementation support.
Provide daily production support for WMS and TMS applications, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues impacting warehouse operations, outbound/inbound transportation, and downstream systems.
Support WMS functional areas, including but not limited to:
- Inbound receiving and putaway
- Inventory management and control
Position Success Criteria (Desired) - 'WANTS'
5 years of experience supporting enterprise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics/transportation applications.
- Proven experience acting as a WMS and TMS Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting daily warehouse operations, owning application support, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Strong functional knowledge of WMS processes, including:
- Inbound receiving and putaway
- Inventory management and control
- Picking, packing, shipping, and outbound staging
