This individual will support enterprise Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) applications, providing daily production support while also contributing to requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
Daily Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering and business process analysis.
- Functional and detailed design documentation.
- System configuration and parameter setup.
- Testing across unit, integration, system, and user acceptance phases.
- Production deployment, stabilization, and post-implementation support.
- Provide daily production support for WMS and TMS applications, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues impacting warehouse operations, outbound/inbound transportation, and downstream systems.
- Support WMS functional areas including inbound receiving and putaway, and inventory management and control.
- 5 years of experience supporting enterprise Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics/transportation applications.
- Proven experience acting as a WMS and TMS Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting daily warehouse operations and owning application support, enhancements, and issue resolution.
- Strong functional knowledge of WMS processes including inbound receiving and putaway, inventory management and control, and picking, packing, shipping, and outbound staging.
