Pay : $24/H
Schedule: The role requires flexibility in scheduling. Shifts may vary and can include any combination of the following: 11:45 AM to 8:15 PM. Will pick two days off during the week. Example: tuesdays and wednesdays off.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the residential dining hall, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to board customers. This includes opening and closing units, supervising staff across all aspects of board operations, and maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all employees within assigned areas, ensuring adherence to service standards and food safety regulations.
- Check in staff, cover shortages as needed, and provide training, direction, and coaching.
- Maintain high standards of quality, customer service, safety, and sanitation throughout service.
- Circulate throughout serving and dining areas to monitor service quality, product availability, and cleanliness; address deficiencies promptly.
- Assist in merchandising and displaying food and products attractively, ensuring appropriate signage and labeling.
- Support inventory control and manage food and labor costs within target ranges.
- Enforce portion control procedures and ensure the security of food, equipment, and supplies.
- Control access to the dining hall and enforce policies related to admission and unauthorized entry.
- Open and/or close the facility at the beginning or end of the service day.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience supervising staff in a food service or hospitality environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
