Laboratory Technician
Location: Williston, ND, USA
Employment Type: 6 months with potential for extencion
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in the light industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable service to customers, performing quality assurance tests, and providing advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable service to customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery.
- Perform quality assurance tests on company products and prepare laboratory reports.
- Provide advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.
- Maintain contact with Client Support Labs and other relevant departments.
- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed of.
- Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers.
- Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards.
- Assist with technical support as required.
- Perform risk analysis before each task to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns.
- Participate in Service Quality Meetings and improve performance using action plans.
- Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
- Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
- Maintain the required safety training.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Flexibility, willingness to learn, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience in a similar role is a plus.
