Job Title: Customer Care Coordinator I
Location: Elgin, IL (100% Onsite – Local candidates only)
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (some flexibility required)
Assignment Duration: Long-term contract, up to 2 years based on performance and business needs
About the Role
Join a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting world-class communications equipment and mission-critical solutions for first responders and public safety customers. This role is highly customer-facing and focused on coordinating customer visits, scheduling events, and supporting presentations and marketing materials.
The ideal candidate is professional, friendly, organized, proactive, and comfortable interacting with customers in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule customer visits, demonstrations, and events
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and customer visitors
- Manage event logistics including:
- Conference room scheduling
- Meal coordination
- Customer tours
- Local event and attraction communication
- Greeting customers and visitors onsite
- Assist with updating brochures, presentations, videos, and marketing materials
- Support administrative and facility-related functions as needed
- Communicate schedules and updates with internal project management and field teams
- Maintain a professional and welcoming customer experience
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
- Experience coordinating customer events, meetings, or schedules
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Intermediate computer skills
- Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Reliable, flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Knowledge of Oracle tools
- Experience handling customer visa or immigration paperwork
- Experience creating presentations or marketing materials
- Graphic design experience is a plus
