Western Regional Sales Manager

Our client is seeking a driven and commercially strong Regional Sales Manager to support continued growth across the Western United States. This role will focus on developing new business, managing key customer relationships, and driving sales of advanced inspection and vision systems used in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing.

- Capsule inspection systems
- Tablet inspection systems
- Blister inspection systems
- Slip inspection systems
- Sterile product inspection systems
- Custom-engineered inspection equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Western USA territory.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing.
- Manage full sales cycles including prospecting, solution development, proposals, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, OEMs, distributors, and industry partners.
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and applications teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting.
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer visits across the region.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Drive growth in high-potential segments, especially nutraceutical manufacturing in California and Utah.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience in inspection systems.
- Experience selling in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical markets
- Proven track record of developing new business within a defined territory.
- Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Western USA.
