Position Summary
The Product Manager, Temperature Sensors (NTC/RTD), owns the strategic and commercial success of the global temperature sensing portfolio.
This role serves as a cross-functional business leader responsible for managing and scaling NTC thermistors and RTD product lines globally, driving revenue growth, margin expansion, lifecycle management, and customer value creation across HVAC, refrigeration, appliance, industrial, and emerging applications.
The Product Manager will lead the development of global product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with market trends such as electrification, energy efficiency, and advanced thermal management. This role also owns value-based product positioning, translating technical capabilities into clear, differentiated market propositions.
Position Responsibilities
- Own and manage the global temperature sensor portfolio (NTC thermistors and RTDs)
- Develop and execute global product roadmaps aligned with strategic markets
- Define and lead value-based product positioning
- Drive pipeline development, pricing strategy, and forecasting
- Lead new product introductions (NPI)
- Translate voice of customer and market insights into strategy
- Collaborate with Engineering on specifications and performance
- Partner with Operations to improve cost and manufacturability
- Optimize portfolio through lifecycle management
- Support Sales enablement and training
- Deliver executive-level updates
- Identify emerging technologies and market adjacencies
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
- Engineering or science-related field with a passion for business/marketing, or
- Business/marketing degree with strong technical and financial acumen
- MBA preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in product management, product marketing, strategic planning, or a related role within Industrial, HVAC, sensing, or technology-driven markets
- Demonstrated ability to manage products across the full lifecycle (concept through end-of-life)
- Strong business acumen, including pricing, margin analysis, and profitability improvement
- Ability to translate technical concepts and customer pain points into clear product strategies and commercial outcomes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, CRM/ERP systems)
- Experience working with customers and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Strong market awareness and operational understanding
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Visionary mindset with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Customer-facing role with travel required
