Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage structured cabling systems.
- Work across diverse environments including data centers, banking, financial, and manufacturing/distribution.
- Perform rough-in, termination, and testing of 4-pair (CAT5e-CAT6) and multi-pair cabling.
- Execute rough-in, termination, and testing of fiber cables utilizing SC/LC connectors.
- Manage circuit extensions for T1, DS3, and POTs.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Travel as necessary to meet project requirements and client needs.
- 2-4 years of structured cabling experience.
- Proven experience in large-scale rollouts and commercial building construction.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with General Contractors.
- BICSI Certification: Strongly preferred.
- Manufacturer Certifications / Experience: Experience with Panduit and ComScope is desirable.
- Fusion Splicing Experience: Considered a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
- High level of self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Ability to adjust to dynamic project environments and varying customer needs.
- Dependable and consistent in meeting project deadlines and customer expectations.
