Position Summary We are seeking a Foreman who is a proactive leader with a strong background in data center and commercial IT infrastructure installation, including structured cabling, fiber optics, server racks, network equipment, and power systems. The Foreman is responsible for managing daily on-site operations in data centers and commercial facilities, ensuring work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.

Position Summary We are seeking a Foreman who is a proactive leader with a strong background in data center and commercial IT infrastructure installation, including structured cabling, fiber optics, server racks, network equipment, and power systems. The Foreman is responsible for managing daily on-site operations in data centers and commercial facilities, ensuring work is performed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise crews in the installation of IT infrastructure in data centers and commercial environments, including copper/fiber cabling, server racks, network gear, and power systems
- Interpret and implement project blueprints, floor plans, and technical documentation for data center and commercial projects
- Ensure all work complies with ServicePoint IT's quality, technical, and safety standards
- Organize job site logistics, tool allocation, and material staging for data center deployments
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress updates, and team timekeeping
- Liaise with superintendents, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
- Perform field-level quality assurance and troubleshooting for data center cabling and hardware installations
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards, particularly for data center work at heights, confined spaces, and high-density rack environments
- Coach, train, and evaluate junior team members and technicians on data center best practices and structured cabling techniques
- 5 years of experience in data center or commercial IT infrastructure installation
- 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or foreman role
- Proficient in structured cabling, fiber optics, and hardware installation, especially in data center environments
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiar with TIA/EIA standards, NEC, and OSHA requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to work at various job sites regionally
- BICSI Installer or Technician Certification
- OSHA 30 Certification (within 5 years)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- PMP or Construction Management coursework (a plus)
