Service Specialists is conducting a confidential direct hire search for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager in the Jackson, MS area on behalf of a well-established company.
This is a high-impact role for a detail-driven accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to manage high-volume, high-dollar AP operations with precision.
🔹 What You'll Own:
• Full AP cycle — invoice receipt, coding, approval & payment
• High-volume, high-dollar invoices
• Three-way matching (invoice, bill of lading, contract)
• Vendor payment terms & cash flow optimization
• Month-end close, accruals & AP reporting
• Process improvement & AP automation initiatives
• Team supervision & development (if applicable)
🔹 What We're Looking For:
• 5 years of AP experience | 2 years in a supervisory role
• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ERP/accounting system experience & advanced Excel
• Strong understanding of index-based pricing, volume reconciliation, or fuel/logistics AP a plus
💰 Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 DOE
