What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Service First Staffing?
Machine Operator – MO Level 1 is $16 an hour to start DOE (MO Level 2 or 3 can start at $18 or $20 an hour) MO’s have a possible Merit Increase at 60 days based on performance/attendance (potential of 3 others 1st year to be $20 after 1 year).
- Opening on Weekend PM 12- Hour Shift – 7pm to 7am / Fri, Sat & Sun (work 36 hours get paid for 40 hours)
- Openings on 2nd Shift / 3pm to 11pm / Mon - Fri
- Openings on 3rd Shift/ 11pm to 7am / Mon - Fri
Read a production order, ensure the correct raw materials are ordered for the production room, and run diverse machines from liquid fill stations, auto cappers, label machines, and heat sealers. The Machine Operator is responsible for driving the speed of production.
- Follow production orders and specifications
- Ensure they always have the correct raw materials on the line
- Actually run the machine and trouble-shoot making minor adjustments
- Conduct in-process and complete audits of the product
- Complete cleaning/sanitization of machines and line change overs
- Complete client documentation results accurately and completely while following a ‘right the first time’ doctrine.
