Athea Laboratories, a leader in specialty chemical product manufacturing, is seeking a Machine Operator. This position is located at the Athea-Faulkner 7855 N Faulkner Rd facility.
This position is responsible for setup/changeovers, operation, and cleaning of equipment that is used to print labels, apply labels to containers, and fill or aerosolize containers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation of equipment for production such as filling equipment, printing equipment, labeling equipment, aerosolizing equipment, transfer pumps.
- Setup, changeovers, and adjustment of equipment
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment used in production
- Retrieving materials for assembly into finished product
- Measuring correct fill weights
- Completion of production-related paperwork
- Data entry of production-related information into enterprise resource system
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written & verbal instructions
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork/documentation
- Ability to use a calculator to do basic calculations and arithmetic
- Able to use hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, mallets, etc.)
- Vision and depth perception adequate to correctly set up the equipment
- Must wear all required personal protective equipment (e.g. Tyvek overalls, foot protection, eye/face
- protection, hand protection)
