Beautician / Hair Stylist
Location: Senior Suites at Century Farms Assisted Living Community – Ohio

Position Summary
The Beautician provides hair care and grooming services to residents in our assisted living community. This role is essential in promoting residents’ dignity, confidence, and well-being by maintaining their personal appearance in a professional, safe, and caring manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hair care services including shampooing, cutting, styling, coloring, and perming.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio State Board of Cosmetology standards and facility policies.
- Build positive relationships with residents while maintaining professionalism and respect.
- Assist residents in and out of salon chairs as needed to ensure comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate appointment schedules and records of services provided.
- Uphold infection control and sanitation practices to ensure resident safety.
- Communicate with staff and families regarding resident grooming needs and preferences.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio Cosmetology or Beautician License required.
- Previous experience in a senior living, healthcare, or salon setting preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively.
- Compassion, patience, and respect for the elderly population.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and assist residents safely.
