Executive Director / Assisted Living Administrator
Location: Ohio (Assisted Living Community)
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Executive Director / Assisted Living Administrator to lead our community. This individual will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, support resident care excellence, and foster a strong, positive team culture. The ideal candidate is resident-focused, organized, and confident in managing both clinical and business functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the community to ensure high-quality care and services.
- Provide leadership, support, coaching, and accountability to all department managers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health Assisted Living regulations and agency standards.
- Manage admissions, marketing, occupancy goals, and resident/family satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance including staffing, payroll, budgeting, and census development.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Collaborate with clinical and nursing teams to ensure resident care needs are met appropriately.
Required Qualifications (Ohio Assisted Living Administrator Requirements):
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience in Assisted Living, Senior Living, Skilled Nursing, or related healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of Ohio Assisted Living / RCF regulations and regulatory compliance expectations.
- Ability to successfully pass background checks required by state law.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build trust, motivate teams, and maintain a positive community culture.
- Customer-service mindset with a passion for serving seniors and families.
