Executive Director / Assisted Living Administrator
Location: Ohio (Assisted Living Community)

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Executive Director / Assisted Living Administrator to lead our community. This individual will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, support resident care excellence, and foster a strong, positive team culture. The ideal candidate is resident-focused, organized, and confident in managing both clinical and business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the community to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Provide leadership, support, coaching, and accountability to all department managers and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with Ohio Department of Health Assisted Living regulations and agency standards.
  • Manage admissions, marketing, occupancy goals, and resident/family satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance including staffing, payroll, budgeting, and census development.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
  • Collaborate with clinical and nursing teams to ensure resident care needs are met appropriately.

Required Qualifications (Ohio Assisted Living Administrator Requirements):

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience in Assisted Living, Senior Living, Skilled Nursing, or related healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of Ohio Assisted Living / RCF regulations and regulatory compliance expectations.
  • Ability to successfully pass background checks required by state law.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust, motivate teams, and maintain a positive community culture.
  • Customer-service mindset with a passion for serving seniors and families.
