- Operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce parts to documented requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job documentation to confirm features, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Perform in-process inspection using standard measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, indicators) and document results.
- Monitor part quality during runs; communicate issues and escalate out-of-tolerance conditions promptly.
- Perform routine machine care per standard work (e.g., cleaning, chip management, basic checks).
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and comply with safety and quality requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2 years CNC machining experience.
- Technical degree may be a substitute for some experience.
- Ability to read and interpret prints and use common inspection tools.
- Consistent track record of safe machine operation and quality performance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds (some positions).
- Experience producing precision parts in a controlled quality environment (inspection records, documentation).
- Familiarity with common CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Okuma).
- Exposure to close-tolerance work and consistent use of measurement tools.
