Job Title: Production Support, Powder Coat Paint - Paint Line Assistant
Location: Baldwin, WI
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Paint Line Assistant to join our Production Support team in our Powder Coat Paint department. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload metal or fabricated parts for powder coat painting.
- Hang parts securely on the paint line prior to the coating process.
- Prepare parts for painting by washing, drying, or otherwise prepping surfaces.
- Inspect parts for quality before and after painting, identifying defects or irregularities.
- Package finished parts for shipment or storage according to specifications.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow continuity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Physical Stamina & Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately inspect and assess part quality.
- Reliability: Demonstrated good attendance and punctuality.
- Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
