Position – Arc Welder
Job Location – West Bend, WI
Starting Date – Immediate
Employment Term – Temp-To-Hire
Employment Type – Full-Time
Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (5am-3pm Monday-Thursday)
Starting Pay – $18-$30/Hour, Depending on Experience

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – Minimum two years Arc welding experience is required.
Arc Welder uses welding equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations or seams of fabricated metal products.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse fabricated metal products in an efficient manner to maximize production, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, shielded metal arc and submerged arc welding.
- Weld separately or in combination using aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel and other alloys.
- Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry and welding techniques.
Qualifications
- Understand and apply welding techniques, processes and equipment.
- Work quickly and skillfully with the hands.
- Accept responsibility for the work performed.
