Position – Digital Printing Press Operator
Job Location – Edgerton, WI

Work Hours (Shift) – 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm Mon-Fri)
Starting Pay – Depends on Experience, $20-$25 per hour

Required Education – High School Diploma/GED
Required Experience – At least 2 years of experience
The Digital Press Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of digital printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple print projects in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
1. Operate and maintain digital presses to produce print jobs according to specifications.
2. Review job tickets and verify materials, file accuracy, and finishing requirements before production.
3. Set up press for proper color, registration, and paper alignment.
4. Monitor press runs to maintain consistent quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
5. Perform routine press maintenance and request service as needed.
6. Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to ensure smooth workflow.
7. Maintain accurate records of press operations, including run counts, downtime, and maintenance.
8. Ensure compliance with production schedules and deadlines.
9. Inspect finished work for accuracy, color quality, and overall appearance.
10. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
11. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
1. Proficiency with digital presses (e.g., HP Indigo, Canon, Xerox, or similar).
2. Knowledge of color management, RIP software, and file preparation.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
4. Ability to read and interpret job tickets and technical specifications.
5. High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
6. Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
