Client Events Specialist

Actively seeking a Client Events Specialist for a permanent, full-time position with a top international law firm in New York. This role will focus on planning and executing client-facing events, including dinners, receptions, conferences, and hospitality programs, and will work closely with attorneys, marketing and business development teams, and vendors.

LOCATION: New York, NY (Midtown)

SCHEDULE: Hybrid | 4 days in the office/1 day work from home

PAY: $95k - $120k overtime bonus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3 years of experience in event planning within a high-profile, fast-paced environment (legal or professional services experience a plus)
• Proven experience managing event budgets, vendors, and contracts from planning through execution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with event and CRM platforms such as Monday.com, Vuture, Dynamics, and virtual event tools preferred
• Strong client service mindset with the ability to collaborate across teams and offices

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and execute client events including dinners, receptions, conferences, and other firm-hosted programs
• Manage all aspects of event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor coordination, budgeting, invitations, and on-site execution
• Partner with attorneys and business development teams to align event strategy with practice and firm goals
• Coordinate attendee lists, track RSVPs, and support post-event follow-up and reporting
• Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to firm guidelines
• Produce post-event analysis including attendance, ROI, and recommendations for future improvements
• Stay current on industry trends, venues, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to firm events
