Legal Business Development Manager

Actively seeking a Legal Business Development Manager for a Fulltime and Hybrid Role within a Top AMLaw Law Firm. Working to fill a few different BD Manager roles within the Practice Groups of Capital Markets, Disputes, Antitrust, Comm, IP Litigation. This role is suited for a candidate with 5 years of experience working in Business Development, RFP, or Proposal writing within a Law Firm.

HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST

SCHEDULE | LOCATION: Hybrid | New York City

PAY: $145K - $190K (Commensurate w/Experience) Discretionary Bonus

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED
• 5 Yrs in a Marketing/Business Development Role in a Law Firm
• Knowledge of Private Equity, M&A, Tax, Energy, Natural Resources or Litigation practice areas to be considered.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with various administrative groups
• Experience with databases and comfortable with basic administrative tasks.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Point person for all business development and marketing opportunities
• Support practice group leaders in the development and implementation of client development plans
• Produce focused pitch materials, responses to RFPs, and ranking directory submissions (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500)
• Coordinate and oversee practice area communications
• Manage and oversee substantive client BD and entertainment events
• Liaise on office budget and related financial planning materials
