We currently have a very exciting opportunity available with our client for an HR Specialist I in Austin, TX . This will be a 6 -month contract with the possibility to extend and/or convert.

Responsibilities

• Administers human resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas.
• Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.
• Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
• May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
• Navigate Workday to perform daily data entry, corrections, and updates across HCM modules
• Run Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs) to process bulk data uploads and maintain data accuracy
• Execute large-scale Excel data integrity audits, analyzing and comparing data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies
• Provide Workday HRIS Tier 1support, troubleshooting issues and resolving end-user tickets
• Maintain accurate Team Member records and support payroll and benefits teams with data processing issues
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, auditing, and manipulation required
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources , Business Administration or other Benefits related degrees preferred, not mandatory.
• 0-2 Years of Experience in the field or in a related area.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a manager.
  
  

Pay Range

• The pay range for this position is up to $2 3 . 24 per hour . Compensation will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This rate is subject to change.
