Inside Sales Customer Support Specialist (Manufacturing)

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Inside Sales Customer Support Specialist (Manufacturing) for a growing, specialized manufacturing organization supporting aerospace and defense clients. This is an onsite position based in Garland, Texas.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Inside Sales Customer Support Specialist (Manufacturing) will support customer service and inside sales operations by managing high-volume communications, processing orders, and coordinating across internal teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate order entry, timely updates, and strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage high-volume customer communication via phone and email, ensuring timely and professional responses
• Process orders, purchase orders, and quotes while maintaining accuracy across systems
• Enter and track data within ERP and CRM systems, ensuring all activity is documented
• Coordinate production updates, order changes, and scheduling adjustments with internal teams
• Support invoicing, reporting, and documentation processes
• Resolve customer inquiries and issues while maintaining strong relationships
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in customer service, administrative support, or inside sales within a fast-paced environment
• Strong technical aptitude with experience using CRM and/or ERP systems
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a technical or manufacturing environment
  
  

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a competitive base salary of $60,000–$75,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package including employer-paid health insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and long-term disability coverage.
