Director of Revenue Cycle

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Revenue Cycle Management for a rapidly growing healthcare services organization. This is a fully onsite position located in Lincolnwood, IL.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will lead and optimize billing, collections, and accounts receivable operations for a fast-scaling home care organization experiencing significant year-over-year growth. This role is highly strategic, responsible for improving cash flow, reducing days in AR, and implementing best-in-class processes across the revenue cycle. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build structure, drive accountability, and partner cross-functionally with payroll and executive leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and oversee all revenue cycle functions, including billing, collections, and accounts receivable
• Implement and optimize processes to reduce AR days and improve cash flow performance
• Develop, track, and report on KPIs to drive accountability and operational efficiency
• Manage and restructure a team of 10–12 staff, aligning resources across billing/collections and payroll
• Collaborate closely with payroll to ensure alignment between billable and payable hours
• Resolve complex claims issues and ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and payer requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong background in home care revenue cycle management
• Deep knowledge of Medicare billing and reimbursement processes
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams
• Experience establishing KPIs, reporting metrics, and driving performance improvements
• Familiarity with EMR systems such as Axiscare or Axxess is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $90,000–$110,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Additional details regarding benefits will be provided during the interview process.
