What You Will Do
- Lead and manage a team of attorneys and paralegals within a designated market or pod
- Oversee case strategy and execution across a portfolio of personal injury matters
- Evaluate claims, assess liability and damages, and drive case value
- Represent clients in litigation, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
- Develop and implement litigation strategies to maximize recovery and efficiency
- Mentor and develop junior attorneys through coaching, feedback, and case guidance
- Collaborate with medical experts, vocational specialists, and internal teams
- Negotiate with insurance carriers and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes
- Ensure cases move efficiently through the litigation lifecycle
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and team performance
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active Michigan Bar license in good standing
- 5 to 10 years of personal injury litigation experience
- Prior experience in a leadership role such as Managing Attorney, Team Lead, or Pod Lead
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and case strategy skills
- Experience managing high-volume caseloads and leading teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Ability to think strategically, execute efficiently, and drive results
- Admission to one or more Michigan federal courts
- Experience in high-growth or high-volume personal injury practices
- Comfort working within evolving systems and scalable processes
- Experience in client-focused or performance-driven environments
- Base Salary Range: $250,000 to $350,000, depending on experience and overall fit
