Litigation Legal Assistant

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Litigation Legal Assistant for a growing, collaborative law firm client. This is a fully onsite position in Englewood, Colorado.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role supports a busy litigation team by providing both legal and administrative assistance in a fast-paced environment. The Legal Assistant will play a key role in managing case details, coordinating deadlines, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for attorneys. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide daily legal and administrative support to litigation attorneys
• Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
• Manage court filings (state and federal) and track key deadlines and calendars
• Coordinate scheduling with clients, courts, and third parties
• Maintain organized case files and manage document systems
• Support overall team operations, including communication and administrative coordination

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience supporting attorneys in a litigation or legal support environment
• Familiarity with court filings and legal procedures (state and/or federal preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This position offers a pay range of $28.85 – $33.65 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer-paid medical (employee only), dental and vision coverage, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, holiday pay, and additional voluntary benefits.
