Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Lead Paralegal / Office Manager for a growing, multi-practice law firm client expanding into a new market. This is an onsite position based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex (Bedford), Texas.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This hybrid role combines substantive paralegal work with office management responsibilities, supporting corporate, tax, and estate planning practices. The position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of a newly established office while maintaining alignment with firmwide systems and standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to take ownership, support attorneys at a high level, and contribute to the growth of a new office location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide paralegal support across corporate, tax, and estate planning matters, including drafting documents and managing case files
- Prepare and coordinate corporate governance materials, transactional documents, and closing binders
- Assist with estate planning documentation and implementation of wealth transfer strategies
- Manage client and advisor communications, including coordination with CPAs, financial institutions, and stakeholders
- Oversee daily office operations, including calendaring, billing coordination, and workflow management
- Support office growth by assisting with training, process improvements, and coordination with firm leadership
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a paralegal role with exposure to corporate, transactional, or estate planning work
- Ability to balance legal responsibilities with office management or operational oversight
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office
- Proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This position offers a salary range of $60,000–$85,000 DOE, along with a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off.
