The successful candidate will manage complex licensing processes, coordinate electronic health record (EHR) system integrations, and implement operational policies that reduce administrative friction. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain multi-state clinical licensing, credentialing, and enrollment documentation for all affiliated healthcare providers.
- Oversee patient data management within the EHR system, ensuring rigorous adherence to HIPAA regulations and data security standards.
- Develop, document, and audit standard operating procedures (SOPs) for non-clinical workflows to improve patient intake and care coordination.
- Liaise with external insurance payors and clearinghouses to resolve billing discrepancies, credentialing bottlenecks, and prior-authorization blockers.
- Track, analyze, and report on operational KPIs including patient onboarding times, administrative overhead, and compliance audit scores.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify EHR integration requirements and test automated workflows for clinical administrative tasks.
- 4-7 years of healthcare administration, clinical operations, or practice management experience.
- Deep working knowledge of US healthcare regulations including HIPAA, OSHA, and state-level clinical licensing frameworks.
- Direct experience administering EHR/EMR platforms (such as Athenahealth, Epic, or Elation) and medical billing clearingshouses.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheet modeling (Excel/Sheets) and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills with a track record of coordinating across clinical, legal, and engineering teams.
- Bonus: Experience in a telemedicine or venture-backed digital health startup, or active Certified Healthcare Administrator (CHA) certification.
