Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation of general ledger accounts and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements under US GAAP.
- Design, implement, and maintain internal controls over financial reporting to ensure strict compliance with SOX 404 requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews, annual financial statement audits, and localized compliance testing.
- Research and document technical accounting positions on complex transactions, including revenue recognition (ASC 606) and lease accounting (ASC 842).
- Partner with FP&A and business operations to analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide actionable financial insights to leadership.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally split between a Big 4 public accounting firm and a high-growth corporate environment.
- Active CPA license and a strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX internal control frameworks, and SEC reporting guidelines.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday, or SAP) and automated reconciliation tools like BlackLine or FloQast.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related quantitative field.
- Exceptional analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities and experience modeling complex financial transactions.
- Bonus: Prior experience managing accounting transitions, implementing new ERP modules, or working in a venture-backed technology company.
