We are seeking a creative, trend-driven, and highly collaborative Designer to join our growing team. This individual will support the Design Director in developing seasonal assortments across branded, licensed, and private label collections within the newborn, infant, and toddler categories.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for color, print, trend, and silhouette, along with a solid understanding of the children’s apparel market. This person should be highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Design Director to develop seasonal assortments across multiple categories for boys’ and girls’ newborn, infant, and toddler apparel
- Design trend-right product for branded, licensed, and private label businesses while maintaining customer and retailer expectations
- Research market trends, competitive landscape, color direction, and emerging silhouettes to inform seasonal development
- Conduct online and in-store competitive shopping to identify opportunities within the market
- Create seasonal inspiration boards, concept presentations, and design direction decks highlighting fabrics, color palettes, trims, prints, and key silhouettes
- Develop sketches, technical flats, and color CADs for development boards, presentations, and line sheets
- Assist in fabric, trim, print, and graphic development appropriate for children’s product categories
- Ensure product concepts align with comfort, functionality, durability, and children’s safety standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, production, sourcing, and sales teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Support sample review process and help maintain organization of seasonal design materials and development updates
- Identify opportunities for newness and innovation across categories, fabrics, washes, silhouettes, and design details
- Maintain strong awareness of retailer trends, consumer preferences, and market shifts within the children’s apparel industry
- Contribute positively to team culture and maintain a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of design experience within children’s apparel preferred
- Experience working across branded, licensed, and/or private label product categories is a plus
- Strong knowledge of trends, color, print, and fabric development
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to create professional sketches, CADs, and presentation boards
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for children’s product and design innovation
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
