Job Title: Designer – Belts & Fashion Accessories

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and commercially driven designer with a strong understanding of brand identity and positioning. This individual will bring expertise across fashion accessories—including belts, hats, gloves, scarves, and seasonal toppers—and will play a key role in developing innovative, trend-right products that resonate with the target customer.

The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for trend, color, and material, along with strong technical design skills and the ability to translate concepts into market-ready product.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Product Development

• Design and develop seasonal collections across belts and fashion accessories (hats, gloves, scarves, toppers)
• Create trend-right, brand-appropriate designs that align with seasonal direction and customer needs
• Develop concepts from initial inspiration through final production, ensuring consistency with brand DNA
  
  

Trend Research & Creative Direction

• Research global trends, materials, colors, and silhouettes to inform product direction
• Translate fashion trends into commercially viable designs
• Present seasonal concepts, mood boards, and color palettes to internal teams
  
  

Technical Design & Execution

• Create detailed sketches and technical flats using Adobe Illustrator
• Develop tech packs, including construction details, materials, trims, and specifications
• Partner with product development and production teams to ensure accurate execution
  
  

Material & Color Development

• Source and develop materials, hardware, and trims specific to belts and accessories
• Build cohesive color stories and ensure consistency across categories
• Collaborate with vendors to achieve desired quality, cost, and aesthetic
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to align product with business goals
• Incorporate feedback from sales performance and customer insights into design iterations
• Support line reviews and presentations
  
  

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of design experience in belts and/or fashion accessories
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, commercial awareness, and technical proficiency
• Expertise across multiple accessory categories (belts, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.)
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required); knowledge of additional Adobe Creative Suite tools preferred
• Strong sketching ability (both hand and digital)
• Deep understanding of materials, construction, and hardware for accessories
  
  

Salary $100,000-$125,000 Bonus
