We are looking for a designer to help design and develop belts for branded and private label, reporting to the Design Director.
This position is based in our NYC office and is 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a designer to help design and develop belts for branded and private label, reporting to the Design Director.
This position is based in our NYC office and is 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop on-trend belts based on design direction provided by Design Director
- Collaborate closely with Design Director and ensure timely and accurate execution
- Create detailed CADs, and tech packs/spec sheets for development
- Send tech packs/specs to overseas factories and communicate daily to manage sample development
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Knowledge and experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Must be able to CAD both flat sketches and photo-real
- Clear communication skills are mandatory as this position
- Corresponds daily with overseas vendors to support development, troubleshoot issues, and ensure design intent is executed accurately
- Strong knowledge of Adobe applications, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
- A strong understanding of trend and competitive markets
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Must have experience designing belts
Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
