Title: Senior Sales Executive

Description:

To function as the external face of the company to engage garment buyers in the U.S. apparel market, with a specific focus on knit garments, including intimate wear, infant wear, sportswear and swimwear. Primary responsibilities will include marketing garments, collaborating on design and product development, and customer engagement to drive sales growth, develop new accounts, and expanding the company's customer base.

The key attributes required exceptional interpersonal skills, industry expertise, and the ability to deliver comprehensive sourcing solutions from design to garment delivery.

Job Role:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international buyers, focusing on high-value brands
  • Expand markets in the USA while consolidating existing ones.
  • Generate new accounts through cold calling, networking, and relationship-building within specific customer segments seeking garment sourcing solutions
  • Lead initiatives to establish and grow new brand partnerships in line with company objectives.
  • Conduct Brand research to identify trends and opportunities, tailoring marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Achieve revenue targets and meet strategic objectives by employing a solution-selling approach, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting strategic objectives
  • Build and maintain a referral network to generate new growth opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with existing & prospective clients to ensure satisfaction and timely delivery of design and product services.
  • Deliver professional presentations and demonstrations to customers on-site, emphasizing sourcing solutions, technical expertise, and quality standards.
  • Curate internal contents such as videos, fabric hangers and samples to aid marketing
  • Emphasize the features and benefits of our sourcing solutions, provide price estimates, and discuss payment terms.
  • Manage buyer meetings, confirm appointments for market weeks, and maintain consistent communication to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Provide technical insights into manufacturing processes, including coloration, printing techniques, and fabric development, to support customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to deliver tailored collections and samples aligned with market trends and buyer expectations.
  • Manage and guide the merchandising team to ensure production standards, quality compliance, and on-time shipments.
  • Obtain sampling approvals to timely supply production lines, ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficient shipment through supervision via the Merchandising team
  • Highlight the features and benefits of our sourcing solutions, offer price estimates, negotiate orders, oversee order costing for knit garments, confirm order details, and manage the entire order process including purchase orders, internal orders, costing sheets, product development, and shipment follow-up.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and the Product Department, including design, pattern making, purchasing, quality control, planning, and manufacturing, to offer technical feedback to customers.
  • Stay updated on competitor activities, industry trends, and emerging technologies through research, seminars, and trade show/Roadshow.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Basic Requirements:

  • 7-year experience in garment and textile marketing in USA market
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Manager of Marketing/ Merchandising in any garments/buying house/Apparel sector with specific emphasis on Knit Garments wears.
  • Robust network of industry contacts in the U.S. apparel market.
  • Ability to travel as needed for international buyer meetings and market weeks.
  • Preference will be given who works with the buyers like: Levi’s, Nike, Walmart, Costco, PVH Group, Under Armour, and other leading wholesale buyers who creates high values
  • Strong technical knowledge in coloration, printing technique and fabric development
  • Good understanding of fashion sourcing account developments.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent listening & written communication skills.
  • Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
  • Highly adaptable with experience meeting diverse customer needs
  • Team management and Capability of providing commercial guidance to a small team

Salary: $120,000 Bonus
