The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and helping to develop the Accounting team.

- Support Controller to oversee and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across all entities.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Supervise AP, AR and general ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory accounting, including costing, reserves, and reconciliations across channels (wholesale, retail, eCommerce).
- Partner with operations and logistics teams to ensure alignment between financials and inventory movement.
- Serve as a key partner to FP&A, Operations, Sales, and senior leadership.
- Provide insights on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Serve as a key owner of NetSuite for accounting operations, ensuring data integrity and accurate financial reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to support scalability and efficiency.
- Partner cross-functionally to optimize workflows and reporting within the ERP.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls across all entities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support external audits and tax filings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
- 5-8 years of accounting experience, ideally within fashion, retail, or consumer goods; startup experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory accounting and omni-channel businesses.
- Proficient in ERP (NetSuite) and expert level Excel.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $115,000 - $135,000
