Clinic RN / LPN (Urology Clinic) – Travel Contract
Location- Pella, Iowa
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Clinic RN or LPN to support providers in a busy Urology Clinic. This role ensures smooth clinic flow, assists with exams and procedures, manages phone triage, and provides direct patient care within scope of practice.
You will support providers with treatments, specimen collection, documentation, and patient education while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Support clinic flow including rooming patients and preparing exam areas
- Provide phone triage and patient follow-up calls as directed
- Administer medications per provider orders
- Collect and prepare lab specimens
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Deliver strong patient education and customer service
- Manage priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
- Collaborate effectively as part of the clinic team
Requirements
✔ Graduate of an accredited RN or LPN program
✔ Active Iowa RN/LPN License — Required
✔ AHA BLS Certification (or able to obtain within 3 months)
Preferred:
- 3 years acute or ambulatory clinical experience
- Experience in cardiac, diabetic care, home health, ER triage, or phone triage
- Adult Pediatric combined experience
✔ Strong multitasking & communication skills
✔ Positive, professional, customer-focused approach
✔ Basic computer skills; comfortable with Windows OS
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
